Alisha Thomson is a Vice President and Wealth Strategist at Country Club Trust Company. She works with clients who are interested in choosing a professional trustee to administer their estate plans. Alisha also assists new clients with navigating Country Club Trust Company's services for revocable trusts, irrevocable trusts, special needs trusts, estate administration, financial planning and investment management.
Alisha joined Country Club Trust Company in 2016 with experience in elder law, estate planning, probate, oil and gas, charitable giving and business succession planning. Alisha’s background includes three years in the private practice of law with Donna J. Jackson & Associates, an elder law, estate planning and probate firm in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She also spent two years in development and fundraising at Great Plains SPCA, a Kansas City nonprofit. Alisha has also worked in the oil and gas industry as a landman for both Land Services Inc. and T.S. Dudley Land Company Inc.
Alisha graduated from Lincoln University in 2009 with dual bachelor’s degrees in history and political science. She also holds a master’s in business administration degree a Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University, where she was president of the Student Bar Association and recipient of the Dean’s Service Award. Alisha is licensed to practice law in Missouri, Kansas and Oklahoma.
Alisha enjoys staying active in the community through her service on the Wornall-Majors House Museum’s board of directors and the Kansas City Symphony’s Planned Giving advisory board. She is a member of Mid-America Charitable Gift Planners, the Oklahoma Bar Association, Missouri Bar Association, Kansas Bar Association, the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, the Association for Women Lawyers of Greater Kansas City and the Kansas City Estate Planning Society.
