Country Club Trust Company can serve as:

• Personal Representative (Executor or Administrator) of an estate of a decedent
• Successor Trustee with the principal responsibility to distribute assets at death
• Agent to an individual who is named as a Personal Representative or Successor Trustee

In estate settlement, the Trust Company handles all matters related to the legal requirement of marshalling together and ultimately distributing assets when a client dies. This includes (but is not limited to):

• Payment of bills
• Filing final income tax returns and estate tax returns (if applicable)
• Administering the estate through the probate process if necessary
• Safeguarding assets
• Supervising estate sales
• Selling real estate
• Liquidating assets
