Jeff Gentle

Jeff Gentle is a Vice President and Portfolio Manager for Country Club Trust Company. He provides investment management for individual and institutional portfolios while serving on the Asset Allocation Committee.

Jeff brings over 25 years of capital markets experience to the Country Club Trust Company, joining in 2022. He began his career as a sell-side equity analyst at A.G. Edwards & Sons. Jeff also spent time as a Senior Analyst at NovaStar Financial, where he developed expertise in asset-backed securities. Most recently, his work involved equity and fixed-income strategy at Waddell & Reed.

Jeff holds a BA in finance and a BA in economics from Park University. He earned an MS in finance from Saint Louis University. Jeff is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA®) charterholder and an active member of the CFA Society of Kansas City.
